I started LunaSea Studios, and I wanted it to be for LOCAL ARTISTS only….and I try to encourage all local people to DO SOMETHING creative, and they can always display it in LunaSea for sale. I try to be open to any local person who does anything creative – if there is space enough in this tiny shop. Right now, I am pretty packed with stuff, but I am always open to look at someones work.

I opened LunaSea because an opportunity came about when I was a rental agent at VIP Real Estate. I had been doing that for 8 years couldnt stand our crazy boss any more. The landlord of the house LunaSea is in, called to tell me that she was going to turn part of her vacation rental into retail space. I asked her how much. She said $400 / month – I said “SOLD”! and quit my job! That was 2006, and LunaSea has survived. Thats my story, and Im stickin to it!
